Recurring Invoices

What are recurring invoices?

How recurring invoices work and when to use them.

Recurring invoices let Rebill automatically generate and send invoices to your clients on a regular schedule — weekly, monthly, quarterly, or any other frequency you set. Once you've set it up, it runs on autopilot.

When to use recurring invoices

Recurring invoices are perfect for repeat billing situations, such as:

  • Monthly retainer clients (e.g. bookkeepers, designers, consultants)
  • Subscription-based services
  • Regular cleaning, gardening, or maintenance services
  • Monthly rent or lease payments
  • Any client you invoice for the same amount every period

Instead of manually creating and sending the same invoice every month, you set it up once and Rebill takes care of it.

How it works

When a recurring invoice is active:

  1. On the scheduled date, Rebill automatically creates a new invoice with your specified line items
  2. The invoice is emailed to the client (and optionally sent via WhatsApp)
  3. The next invoice date is automatically calculated and shown in your recurring invoices list
  4. You can still see all generated invoices in your regular Invoices list

Premium feature

Recurring invoices are available on the Premium plan only. To upgrade, go to Settings → Subscription.
