Quote statuses explained

What each quote status means and how quotes move through the process.

Each quote has a status that shows where it is in your workflow — from first draft through to accepted, declined, or converted.

Draft (grey)
The quote has been created but not yet sent to the client.
Sent (blue)
The quote has been emailed to the client. They can view, accept, or decline it.
Accepted (green)
The client has clicked Accept on their quote. You can now convert it to an invoice.
Declined (red)
The client has clicked Decline. You can update the quote and resend if you want to negotiate.
Expired (amber)
The "Valid Until" date has passed and the quote was not accepted. You can reinstate it with a new expiry date if needed.
Converted (purple)
The quote has been converted to an invoice. The quote shows a link to the resulting invoice.

Reinstating an expired quote

If a client comes back after a quote has expired, go to the quote, click Actions → Reinstate quote, and set a new expiry date. The quote will go back to Sent status.
